TOOL A - Guidelines for the evaluation process - Section 3: Partnership Diamonds

EXPLANATIONS about the TOOL C1a, C1b and C1

The scores in TOOL C1a or C1b are automatically inserted when filling in the Partnership Evaluation Matrix (TOOL B). By clicking the selected score in the box for each indicator in TOOL B, the same score will be saved in the respective box of the TOOL C1a or C1b. Before saving the scores for each dimension of the matrix, the system will ask you to indicate if you are filling in the matrix for the civic organisation or for the company, so that the respective TOOL C1a or C1b will be automatically filled in.
This way, it will be possible to show the Civic Organisation Partnership Diamond (looking at the page “Civic Organisation Diamond” of the TOOL C1a) or the Company Partnership Diamond (looking at the page “Company Diamond” of the TOOL C1b) that will be automatically produced.
At the beginning of the Joint Evaluation Meeting, one of the participant has the task to fill in the TOOL C1 with the scores assigned separately from each partner.

Then, the same person will fill in the columns “Shared Score” of the page “Shared scores” of TOOL C1, with the scores reached by consensus between participants. However, if unable to reach an agreement over the score, the person in charge to fill in the box, select the word “disagreement”;

The columns including the “revised shared scores” will be automatically filled with a lower score in the case of disagreement.

This way, it will be possible to show (looking at the page “partnership diamond” of the TOOL C1):

  • the Partnership Diamond and
  • the Revised Partnership Diamond

that will be generated automatically filling in the column “shared scores”. The revised Partnership Diamond is only when there has been a disagreement and a shared scoring has not been able to be reached.
